StoryLine:

A research team encounters multiple threats while exploring the depths of the ocean, including a malevolent mining operation.

Meg 2: The Channel (named Shark 2 in some territories)[2] is a 2023 sci-fi activity movie coordinated by Ben Wheatley from a screenplay by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, and Senior member Georgaris. It depends on the 1999 novel The Channel by Steve Alten. Filling in as the continuation of The Meg (2018), the film stars Jason Statham, Wu Jing, Sophia Cai, Page Kennedy, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Skyler Samuels and Bluff Curtis. Like the past film, it follows a gathering of researchers who should surpass and outswim the nominal Megalodons when a vindictive mining activity compromises their main goal and powers them into a high-stakes fight for endurance.

Plans for the spin-off were declared to be in early advancement in October 2018 after the movies progress of the primary film.
